Remedial Massage is a treatment that can affect the body’s cells, organs and nervous system while also manipulating the body’s soft tissues when including movement for a specific therapeutic effect. Remedial massage is directed by an initial assessment of the client, modified to suit the needs of the individual. The remedial massage therapist will then provide treatments to the area that may be causing your pain. The treatment itself may involve short periods of trigger point techniques, myofascial release, Muscle energy techniques and deep tissue manipulation. Along with this the therapist may also add specific stretching techniques that could be causing muscle tissue to restrict optimal movement.
Conditions such as headaches, stiff necks, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel, sports injuries, lower back pain and many more can be eased with a remedial treatment. With the individuals health in mind a specifically tailored remedial massage treatment plan might just be the thing that gets you back on the road to optimal health.
Remedial massage is an effective alternative treatment that helps restore the body to its optimal health. When muscles and tendons become impaired, damaged, tight or immobile a remedial massage can provide a healing treatment that can have effects on the whole body.
